Default Busy day......

Changed my uppipe, turbo to a VF30, injectors to pinks and my plugs to NGK7's today ready for my remap on Tuesday

All went smoothly, apart from a Corsa SRi overtaking me on the way home caus I cant drive it on boost now.

The next time I see it though.............

Well done mate.
You should see well over the 300/300 mark after remap.

Had a classic running 320/320 and not a lot could touch it round my area except a remapped P1.
Hopefully I'll be seeing around the 330-340bhp mark with similar torque. Going from standard bhp to this, I doubt my clutch will last the journey home.

My RB5 has similar mods as yours and is 330/310.

I am more worried about the gearbox than the clutch. I go easy on gearchanges but when thundering through the revs I often grimace.

I know what you mean, the pull in 2nd and 3rd is severe but if mine goes , its a good excuse to go 6 speed
I should never have sold my classic. Regretted it ever since. I p/x'd it for an Evo6 and the Evo just never felt as quick, even after the boost was turned up. I'm going to keep this Impreza till it rusts and hopefully have a 2.5 and a 6 speed 'box in it some time late this year.

ha ha

This reminds me when I had my remap. I travelled 50 miles to the mappers house after fitting turbo/decat/fuel pump/ full exhaust, etc, etc [all in one go] driving like miss Daisy. I had a blast on the mapping session, then paid my dollars and drove away. 1st set of traffic lights the revs were going up and down like a good en' [maff gone] so I drove like miss Daisy all the way home like a spoilt kidd.
