A thought just struck me, yes I have them occasionally!. Getting my new motor next week and thinking of fitting SS back box, possibly Morretts etc, so I`m going to have brand new parts on my hands. Now considering a lot of you have done the same, what did you do with your brand new spare parts?. Surely they must be worth something, and if you can recoup only part of the costs of your mods it`s got to be worthwhile. I re-alise that they would have little value to other enthuiasts (like wot we am, HI) So question ? what have you done with your bits,I could phrase that better, so serious answers to:-

I saved all of mine so that I can put the car back to standard (or nearly) when I sell it.

same here- just cause scooby net loves BB, morettes etc doesnt mean the world does and if you end up trading it in the dealer wont care. I even kept the original gearknob so i could sell my momo!
