Default WHAT GEARBOX CAN HANDLE 450HP

hi there. in a few weeks i'l be attempting my first ever engine build with help from a friend who has decided to teach me on my own engine hurray (no labour charge) . i was wondering what gearbox and other bits necessary could i use to run an engine producing around 450 horses. cheers

The only standard gearbox that will do this reliably is the six speed.
Other than that you're looking at a built 5speed PPG etc.

i've got a 94 saloon wrx. what 6 speed gearbox fits. how much could i pick one up for. what is the standard power of a 94 wrx saloon. cheers guys

Any 6 speed will fit, you need to have either a diff out of a v2 or 3 or you have to change the rear shafts & hubs. You will also need a propshaft from an Impreza Automatic.
