car will be a 1990 Porsche 944 s2 as pictured below, looking for prices and options, not bothered if your a pro valeter that does it for a living or someone that does it for a laugh and extra cash as long as its done to a standard that is much better than I can achieve.

pm me if you really prefer but I think for stuff like this you are much better off posting a price so others know its possible for them to have it done. its not a secret after all is it

not actually bought the car yet but going to look today.

Looks neat enough mate, the problem with red is the contrast in colours from one panel to the next, especially when its a few years old. I have had a few red cars, usually found an electric buffing wheel with a good quality colour matching polish used to bring out the best in mine. I have got a 968, had looked at 944's s2's as well before buying mine, they are nice looking cars. Red being one of the nicer colours!!

no, I have been looking for a whilst since I sold my 944s, (check my profile) I am just waiting for the right one to come along. no real rush, this one was described as near immaculate hence I travelled the 300 plus miles to go and look at it.... lol

 

You just dont know until you get there do you, its just annoying that some peoples definition of "near immaculate" is different to almost everyone else's
I travelled about the same distance a couple of weeks ago to pick up my wagon, lucky enough it was ok, but its always a bit of a gamble isnt it!
Like the 944 mate, what made you get rid of it? I have my 68 for summertime use, keep it stored in a garage, role on the summer!

I have got a MY99 wrx uk model, in red. Its the first one I have owned so I am getting my homework in, trying to get as much info as I can! It has a few mods, de-cat exhaust, baileys dump valve(not to sure about this yet!), air filter. I have a large dog so needed the space in the boot for her! I am having the wheels refurbed this week(they are off a 03 scoob) and the facelift front has a few scuffs so having them sorted while she is there! Very pleased with it so far, sounds sweet, looks good, goes well, cannot ask for much more really Have you had yours long, had much in the way of mods done to yours??? Is it still as is on your profile?

 

no, its a little different to the profile. this is my 12th impreza the one on my profile is from ages ago. lose the DV take my word on it I can link you to relevant information that suggest that you lose power and fuel economy by using one. plus you will get sick of the bloody thing eventually anyway

12!!!! I now know who to come to for advice! Had an issues with the wagon? anything to look out for?

 

a wagon is just a saloon but with a larger apperture at the back, same chassis etc slightly less power. but can be increased easily by using very cheap methods. if you dont over modify any impreza and treat it with respect by warming and cooling and driving without anger all the time your car will last forever! oil changes and cam belts are a must. ile find that link and send it to your personal messages.

Cheers James Had a look, its helped make my mind up!! Got a mechanic mate a few doors away so had him change the cam belt, oil and plugs when I first got it just for piece of mind!! Like you said, a bit of tlc can go a long way!
