I just removed mine and the difference is unreal,Id rather leave standard re-circ on as it seems to run better and i personally could not see any difference mate !
funny i just took my blitz air filter off and replaced original recirc d.v. and airbox last week and took the car out and it ran like a bag wasnt spooling up as quick and a whole load more lag in between gear changes replaced cone filter and forge v.t.a dump valve and it runs loads better and its not being mapped to nx month so thats not an issue i noticed a fairly big difference
I have recently put a bailey dump valve on my 2000 classic should it make a difference to turbo lag and performance
i would go for a forge d.v. they are about 120 notes alot better then the bailey it wasnt holding leaking etc i noticed the difference as in my other post although many will say this and that etc best to get it mapped asap after adding things and you could always go for an uprated recirc forge do these too i think speak to David @ A.P.I. should get you a good price think mine was 120-125 hope this helps

Just to clear this up for you, putting an aftermarket VTA dump valve on your car will make absolutely no difference whatsoever to performance.
None.
Nadda.
Zero.
Etc.

As Wes says.
Tuners don't like Bailey, as they seem to have a weak spring - too weak for a Subaru. So even at slight lift off, it opens and vents. Does nothing for the fuel consumption or performance like that.
