rad fan hitting belt

Default rad fan hitting belt

fitted a aluminum rad and now rad fan is hitting a belt, any ideas?

did you fit the locating rubbers on the bottom of the new rad ??

If you have fitted the mounting rubbers & your are sure that the posts in the rad are located correctly (it is possible to miss locate the lower mounts and for the rad to sit further towards the engine) then it can only be that the rad is at fault and incorrect for you car.
