Which clay bar would you recommend,its for paint thats not to badly contaminanted.

Meguiars Quik Clay Kit is very good but needs to be used carefully with much lube !

Sonus Green is very mild, much more so than the megs and rarely needs any polishing after to remove marring, again needs plenty of lube.

Megs is good clay, just be careful. Green is also useful as a bug remover tool when washing a waxed car that you don't want to use harsh removers on.

do you need to use the lube stuff because I ran out and been using water instead (still seems to work ok)

 

yep you do. mix soap with the water as that will help as a lube if you dont have any more spray
