i called trafficmaster to activate my trackstar,but they could not pick it up,i drove around the block and nothing.they said it could be damp due to not been activated for a long time.they quoted me £125.00call out plus whatever needs to be done to it.is that about right or can i get it checked out elsewhere for a cheaper price.all input welcome.

The boxes do break - and there's only a three year warranty. I had to have mine replaced this year, and it cost (IIRC) about £250. That's on top of the tracking fee.
