Default 1st Gear tapping/clicking ???

IM LOOKING TO BUY A 1998 UK 2000 TURBO, THE GEARBOX IS MAKING A TAPPING/CLICKING ONLY IN 1ST GEAR.. IS IT NEW BOX TIME OR CAN THE COGS INSIDE BE REPLACED?

IF ANYONE COULD GIVE ME SOME ADVICE ASAP IT WOULD REALLY BE APPRECIATED.

check wheel bearing and c.v, also when u go from forward to reverse you can get pad movement in the caliper which can cause a click/clonk noise lol

if u think the car is worth it give api a ring, it may have spat a tooth on 1st if its that loud , but be warned you may be looking at a rebuild so allow yourself a budget for that .
