If the hood is up, there's more cold air to the intake if using a rampod filter, but the intercooler probably doesn't work fully since no air is "forced" thru it... comments?

You must have plenty of cold air going through the i/c so, unless the blower is mounted really high, blowing air down onto the i/c, It`s best to have the hood down so the scoop will direct the air through the i/c Dont attempt a power run without direct. forced air.

Miki you are right, to get the max performance you need air on the intercooler and air intake.

Best to do the run with the bonnet up as you have a pod filter and the temperature inside a building and your engine and intercooler etc not being cooled my air from driving will degrade your performance.

Yes you should try to get forced air onto the intercooler and around your filter for the run.
