I have no idea whast happening to the front of my car but pics are as attached.. during the summer its like its been burn and is pealing!!!








I am assumeing I am stuffed and this is a respray.. odd thing is if I "scrape" the paint layer with my finger I have fresh paint with small white dots underneath...

Any advice would be great..

take it back to where the spray was done. shouldn't have gone like this. it's an error on their part i'm afraid mate. only solution is to strip it right down and re paint it.

 

Def a bad respray thats coming off mate. eek that is bad!

 

Poor panel preparation? Painting over silicone layer? Severe problem whatever the cause; definitely needs stripping and starting over from scratch.

 

Damp in the Primer from wet sanding, or if it was done in water base paint it was not Dryed properly inbetween the base coat and Laqure

(basicly its ****ed)

 

As above: water based colour or primer that hasn't dried thoroughly before being laquered. In the sun the water heats up and comes out through the laquer.

 

looks like microblisters = fubard

 

My next problem is finding out where it was sprayed.... and who owned it then, I know for a fact it wasnt the last owner.

Whats the chances of the painter / shop accepting liability!!!

Arrhhh gunna cost me as the front bumper is starting to go as well!!

 

Not a hope in hell, can you prove its still there paint on it?

 

Sorry to say mate but you're shafted here.
As it was not you that had the respray done then you have absolutely no legal comeback whatsoever I'm afraid.

The only solution is to take it to a reputable body shop and pay them for a proper job.
