You could do with a Stage 1 Exedy clutch and lightened and balanced Exedy flywheel which will take the power but still be nice to drive with.

The items we would recommend are inthe following link:

If you buy from elsewhere then please make sure the items are genuine Exedy. We also recommend that you make sure the Racing driven plate is the later FD08H-1 Exedy, four spring unit (as we sell).

Please make sure that item that you purchase our genuine Exedy for BOTH the clutch and flywheel. We also recommend the uprated FD08H-1 part number for the driven plate incorporated into the Stage 1 Racing kit rather than the FD08H but we can supply either. Please feel free to PM us for any advice and the guaranteed BEST priced deal for the genuine Exedy products.

It's probably a bit of pot luck on what you send out in your uprated kits and the fact of the matter is it is very hard for customers to tell the difference by just looking at the clutches.

It wasn't long ago when you sent us a OE FJD024U friction plate in one of your "uprated/racing" kits and then proceeded to tell me that it's not incorrect, but the one you always send out and have never had a problem with it.

You may be all smiles whilst taking peoples money, but it's not much fun chasing you when things go wrong:

Justclutches-Exedy is not Techniclutch. The customer can specify the part numbers himself if he wishes but we can always advise on the most suitable Exedy application....we have all the different Exedy Subaru items in stock at the best possible prices within Europe. Customers are welcome to have a browse around our ebay shop and satisfy themselves with our feedback.

Dave, youd be best off getting a clutch from Harvey Smith. Cheap, honest and no bickering.

Thanks Simon. As far as clutches are concerned we can fit what you want and the fitting charge is £150 plus anything else you want doing at the same time.
One of our customers already pointed out to me that the clutch we fitted in his car for £155 was cheaper than the same clutch advertised on a GB by Bob5 at £169.
Nearly a month ago now, I ponted out there were some judder issues with some of the Exeddy 6 spring friction plates so we use either the latest 4 spring clutch or an entirely different make that has served us well over a couple of years or more.
