Default Air flow sensor - lack of knowledge

Hi all,

have booked my beloved P1 in for its service and am having the air flow sensor replaced. First question is, what price should I be looking at - this is not a thread aimed at price bashing the dealers, just would like to know how much it should be compared to what i am paying.

also, is this the same as the maf as i have never had this changed - once again, how much should this be before i ask for it to be done.

thanks all in advance

yep the air flow sensor and maf are the same thing, i had mine on my classic replaced last year and it was £180 from subaru but there are quite a few different types and i was lead to believe mine was one of the cheaper ones
