After a three launches at the pod noticed that first gear now sounds like reverse gear,Whineing sound no crunching sounds,Goes in to gear smoothley also.2,3,4,5,gears apear to be fine just 1st which is the problem.Also sounds a lot louder if you say take it up to a said rpm then bring the foot off the accelarator and stay in 1st gear.Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what i have done to the gearbox??,Many thanks.

I reckon bearings.

 

It might run in that condition for some time but starting to look for a replacement now may be prudent.
