Boost gauge help!!!?

Question Boost gauge help!!!?

Not so familar with boost gauges and obviously wont be fitting it meself but i have an 05 sti and need to know,do i buy a mechanical or electrical one?Any help welcomed.

You can use either.
Mechanical requires an actual vaccum pipe to be routed into the car, to read boost, and can hinder mounting positions.
Electrical has a boost sender that can stay in the engine bay, with just one wire running from that to the boost gauge, making installtion much easier.
Expect to pay more of a premiuim for electrical.
