I have error codes 22 & 23 as per the thread title. Now before i go and get robbed buying these parts, is threre anyway to clean check/clean/fix these items? once error codes appear is the only remedy to change the items?

the maf allegedly can be cleaned by spraying brake/carb cleaner on to it (never done it myself so i don't know) if you can reset the ecu as maybe the maf problem is causing the knock sensor error code

30 mins battery off resets the ecu right?
