Default Selling/modding 2002 Sti Advice

Hi There

I was after a bit of advice re my 2002 sti. Due to recent circumstances - work & family, it will have to go by the end of the year, it makes some sense to sell it now. However I had an idea to go the fuel pump, sports cat, panel filter & remap (by reputable mapper) route as I’ve heard it makes a massive difference and I can just about foot the bill and play for the rest of the year :-) . My concern is will I get any money back at all? The car is standard Prodrive style but high mileage. Thought that the car as is it would be around 6.5K (high mileage aside, really nice condition, new tyres brakes fsh etc) but with mods and new age smaller sti steering wheel (I HATE the massive momo wheel it comes with!) is maybe £7400 or bit lower is achievable? Any comments? Would the above mods make a monster difference?

Any info, opinions etc gratefully received

Martin

You'll never get all your money back on mods mate if any. Be better to remove and sell standard once it's time to sell the car.
