Not as hard to remove the box as people make out really. Done mine a few weeks ago.
I found it easier to get the car as high as possible by blocking under the ramps i was using and under the back wheels just for that extra clearance when crawling under the thing
When refitting the box i left the bearing on the clutch, lifted the fork up on the box just enough to get it on.
I left a gap of about 80mm between the block and bell housing, and if your hands are skinny enough you can get in there to feed the fork back onto the bearing.
With the bearing on the fork i just pushed the box on the rest of the way then put the shaft back through the fork.
Don't overtighten the top bolt on the starter when refitting, the block is aluminium and easy to strip the thread ( as i did
)
I didn't have the clutch off so can't give you any advice there sorry.
