Just fitted a de cat pipe yesterday and done around 70 miles driving when the engine management light has come on and is staying on. Any ideas anyone???????????????? Is it ok to drive and will i do any damage by doing so or is there a way i can cure this without a remap any help is very much appreciated !!!?????

 

if the CEL has come on take it to a garage to read the code(s).

the light has prob come on due to it thinking the cat is not working properly, you either need to get it mapped and the mapper can take it off, or fit a manual/electronic fix, the code for this is something like 3040, common when fitting a de cat down pipe,
