V 6 type-r box question ?
Recently fitted an STi type-r version 6 gearbox (with P1 centre diff on),to my 2000 P1 due to mine letting go of 2nd gear
,and from what i heard peolple were saying the gear ratio's would be exactly the same as the P1 box apart from a shorter 5th ?,but it definatly feels shorter gear'd in a good way though it actually feels a lot quicker
but there ,however when going from 4th to 5th flat out it just feels like it dies off like changing from 3rd to 5th,do all type r boxes feel like this ??????

What diff ratio does a standard P1 use? The type r will be a 4.4 so whist the gear ratios may be the same the final drive may be shorter now.
