Its all academic.

As Shaun has promised me that his car will handle better than a robin reliant with a wheel missing, this year, you're all toast anyway!

Why is shaun going to be eating the toast cos from what I saw of him last year all he did was walk next to the car while you drove it,unless he is going on a diet and will be driving it this year

ROFLOL

Shaun here!!!

I'm going for a different tact this year...... 50bhp / 100lbft more than last years event (even more if I can be arsed to get it mapped for race fuel) and full road trim going back in with Type25 road spec suspension.

The seats are being added so Simon can fit his fat **** in them --- the Sparco's chaffed his saddle bags.

The Stereo is going back in so he can listen to Val Doonican, whilst smoking his pipe.

The road suspension is going back in, so he can suck on his McDonalds thick shake without spilling any.

Whilst I am jesting about the reasons, the changes for this years event are happening.

I don't want anyone suggesting it is not a road car and a stripped out racer, and applies more pressure to Simon!

Shaun/chris when's the list going up for the peeps that have entered? cos at the moment on the banter thread there's only myself, micky, mark.ptmd and yourselves having a crack where's the other usual suspects hiding or haven't they entered running scared of mickys mods to his car the main one being its been polished meaning its going to be more streamline.

Let me link hands with Simon, so I can string a sentance together!

Gussy,
As per previous years an entry list will be published closer to the event, but spaces are being filled fast.

Mark,
The car was never built for 1/4m, but we have seen an 11's pass already this year under non-ideal conditions (i.e. no grip in 1st and 2nd, full fuel load and 2 people in the car). Personally I am more interested in the track / handling.

I now have launch control with 1bar of boost..... at least this year Simon won't have the excuse of "bogging the bitch" on the launch of the handling circuit! I don't know...... these professionals hey!

Perhaps I have the wrong idea of this banter thread..... I am sure I should be supporting my team mate instead of laying in to him!?!

Micky,
With a terminal of 108mph you best crawl back under the low power stone! Come back when your hitting 120+

Mark,
119mph

Thats a lifetime ahead of Micky...... we could both run up the strip with our handbrakes on and overtake him.

I will limit the car to low boost of 1bar which is about 420bhp..... give you a fighting chance. Bring your V5 and I can donate your car as the booby prize for the person who gets the slowest 1/4m time.

Us Midland boys have got to stick together against you Northerners!
