lads tonight i went through a car wash in the sti and the speedo has now stopped working, it was a car wash the jetted water underneath the body of the car.

Anyone got any ideas as to what might have happened, all the other dials on the cluster work perfectly, where does the speedo connect to the gearbox, has this happened to anyone else before??

The speed sensor is fitted to the gearbox on the drivers side. You should be able to see it just back of the turbo & follow down the dp. Just slightly behind the g.box dip stick. Its possible you may have damaged the sensor.
