Hi have a 2001 bugeye and want to take the centre concol out tomorrow.
Where is it fastened can see two screws in the arm rest, but no others. Thought it might be clipped but when i pull on it it feels like something might brake. Any ideas!!

if it same as blob then pull out the bit with cup holder in it is just clipped,then the gear lever gaiter surround and there are 2 screws under there to remove aswell should just pull out then

 

IIRC, there's a screw in the bottom of the box by your elbow (open it, and it's in the bottom). Once that is out, just lift, starting with the gear-stick end.
