Hello im new to scoobynet!

Ive been thinking about getting my self a scooby after always wanting one from an early age. Im looking for some buying advice really, ive been looking around for a late 90's turbo sport not an 'sti' and around the 4k mark i think.

Can you advise me of what i can expect to pay for a decent scoob?

what to look out for?

Who to insure with? i have a quick quote from confused.com of around 500 pound but i turn 25 in a month so i beleive it may come down a little bit

What the running costs are like? MPG, servicing etc.



At the moment i drive a 02 vw passat 1.8T sport with a remap running approx 212bhp which is fun but im looking maybe for that little more fun, I might keep the pissat but very tempted by a scooby




any advice, pointers would be much appreciated!
