Default Ninja exhausts?

After looking around at various exhausts i'd decided I was going to go for the Ninja 1 cat-back system. Today i've phoned two local specialists and they have both advised for one reason or another against getting one. Are they that bad? I really like the look of the back box.

I only want a cat-back system at the moment, but I want the option of adding to it later with parts of the same make.

Any suggestions? It's for an 04 WRX.

I dont know why they would say that? I only have the Ninja BB but i have had no troubles with it at all. I cant see how the middle decat pipe can be rubbish either? Were they trying to sell you something different?
Strange!

From the reviews I have read they aren't that bad. I have seen one but not up close and it was very dirty, sounded ok I guess.

I am running a mix/match of H&S and Blitz exhaust parts and works fine for me, I wouldn't worry too much about matching .

When I was looking at exhausts recently I really liked the Roger Clark, but still went blitz nur spec 's'. If you want a cat back system that sounds good but doesn't deafen you, I would buy the Blitz Nur-Spec RX from Keith at Revolution.

Blitz RX - beautiful quality !

Blitz UK: Products > Exhausts > Nur Spec-RX > 68117 - JDM

If you want a straight through centre pipe you can't beat the H&S one for quality/price.

Stainless exhausts manifolds headers

Whatever you go for ask for best price, traders on SNet are really very good about supporting Scooby Netters

Cheers guys.

I'd decided on the Ninja because I've heard it releases the burble but it's not too 'in your face', I liked the look too.

I got reasons like they never sell any because you can do better for the price, one doubted the build quality and said it doesn't sound very good either. They did recommend others, one was an own brand, the other Hayward & Scott.

I've never looked at the RCM site, thanks for that link!

Any view on the Revolution exhausts?

i have a full ninja system, including de-cat pipes. my car is fine as far as i know...touch wood. sounds lovely, its got a real purr to it, and at high revs it does rasp. but i do think the hks full system sounds nicer, i cant remember which one it was though

I have a Ninja sports cat and centre section, with box, and a RaceBox bb to keep the noise down. Very good system and fit with a nice sound that doesn't send you insane after 20 minutes of motorway driving.
Thanks,
Paul.

I've just bought a Revolution system. A lot of the TyneTeesScoobies members run them on their cars and have seen good gains on them. The finish is fine and build quality is good.

They sound good, aren't overpriced and are a good fit.

Cheers

Matt

Just returned from Revolution with a cat-back system and K&N panel filter. Just what I was after and at a really good price too.
Good set of lads, nice place as well, worth the 240 mile return journey!
Cheers for the advice

Well, I can only suspect its a case of them not wanting to sell a product they can't stock / can't get hold of (i.e. we wont supply them!). Never had anything other than 100% feedback on the Ninja brand. The factory makes them to our own designs and does a pretty damn fine job

I'd be interested to know whos advised you otherwise? Maybe PM me if you don't want to make it public.

Anyway, from your last post, I see you've gone for the Revolution system, which is a great bit of kit too, so you should be happy.

Neil
