Default PSI3 installation

I have bought the PSI3 pod mount VFD display but am not sure how to fit the plastic pod to the metal frame.
I have removed the clock surround, and able to attach the metal frame of the VFD display onto the dashboard with the screws and clips provided.
The problem is how to attach the plastic pod mount to the metal frame; there are 2 clips on the plastic pod mount that are supposed to attach to 2 metal brackets of the frame but they just slide in without 'clicking'.
Is there a trick to it?
Thanks

It just sort of slots in there mate.
Dosn't really clip in iirc, but once it's in it is fairly well stuck there!
