Hi,

We have a 98 Sport and it suffers from a really distinct flat spot at 2500 revs. I have it in the back of my mind that this is a common thing. I have tried disconnecting the battery for a while but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Does anyone have any ideas on how to cure this?

I used to drive a MY97 Sport and had a flat spot for ages, I used super unleaded for a while noticed it, had the it reset and used unleaded petrol not so noticable. I also had a Piperxross induction kit on it and it turned out that the a sensor, can't for the life of me remembering the name of it, had to be moved in different positions, 3 in all.
