Question Losing boost....

Just had a new clutch and flywheel fitted to my classic '00 (thanks to Bob for the parts).
Nothing wrong with them - much better now!

BUT: when I plant it, I'm losing boost at the top end (it pulls strongly till ~4k but then doesn't seem to retain the surge right through like before). Whereas before it sounded like a strong contained whoooshing noise from the turbo, now it sounds like that but with an extra "air escaping" noise

I'm hoping it's just a clip that wasn't put back on tight enough and I'll be back to the garage in the morning, but what's worrying me is the sound the dump valve is making. Before, the dump valve went "TTTsssshhh" when I backed off. Now it makes a kinda quiet purring/throbbing noise. Like a really quiet pnumatic drill.

So.... did they break something?
Thanks
Charles

Thanks again to Dazza. This little monkey had popped off (just in front of the intercooler) - see photo link. Now clipped on and all cured.
