Default spent alot of money on a gearbox

spent alot of money on a gearbox last weekend because it sounded like the one i had on it was making alot of noise! even let scooby clinic have a look they said it could be the bearings in there but they wasnt sure. so anyway i changed the wheel bearing and the noise went, so iv got a spare box what i dont need! anyone got an idea how much the box is worth selling private, its a 1998 uk turbo box with 56000 miles which come off a rear smash?

it depends whether you spare gearbox has been treated well and routinely oiled up for 56k or absolutlet battered round a track for 56k miles.

not knowing the extensive history of a 10 year old gearbox, is why i decided to spend the extra and go with a recon box from api.

I can see where he's comming from...

This was a suspected Front Diff:

After the wheel bearing spectacularly failed and I replaced it.. noise gone
