Hello all,

I am a new WRX owner, a 99 2.0 L WRX. T have had it for 2 months and I am ready to start to transform in into the monster I want it to be (220 hp just doesn't cut it). My Dilema is that I live in the Caribbean, and I would like to get part shipped from the US (cheaper and quicker).. However, I am not familiar with what will work from the US and what won't. Also, I would love some advice as to how to start.... The car is stock, so I would appreciate some responses. Thx

Hi Ricky,

I will be very surprised if you can get much from the US for a WRX, many of our US cousins ship from the UK because of the lack of WRX tunning parts in the US.

Here in the UK as you know we have the UK Turbo version, and a huge number of Jap imports, in the US they get the 2.5Ltr non Turbo, so Turbo tunning is quite rare.

G'day Richie,

Welcome to the board. I've gotta agree with wrx.co.uk on this one. The US has only just recieved the new turbo model. They didnt have any prev so parts availability would be virtually non existant.

NEway enjoy the car.

Hi,

I wouldn't waste my time trying to get anything from the USA for your car. Best places will be in the UK or Australia.

ScoobyMania and Scoobysport in the UK or MRT
