Gatsos in Plymouth
Bloody Hells teeth, Plymouth gets a mention!
After pressure from locals, PC plod finaly used some common sense, and tried the idea on one camera, accidents in the stretch of road have decreased, they are now thinking of trying it on all sites. The main reason for drop in speeding, is the large number of non-locals using the stretch of road tested. The road tested is dual carridgeway, separated by fencing, it seams that strangers to Plymouth thought the road was a forty limit.

I am sure that the government will use the data collected regarding HV Gatsos wisely - as they clamp down on 95mph+ drivers who mow innocent children down on motorways, er, outside schools!

Hi Mark,
Yer right, ARR Bouy.
Sorry thought the local lingo might look better, - wrong.
Yes thats the one. Yesterday while tanking down to Tamerton Foliet just caught site of the camera 2/3 down the hill. Went through at forty, but no flash.
I think one camera is just the start, after all why hide away so called accident blackspots??
