I have what can only be described as a loud road noise from the rear of the car. I suspect wheel bearings so i checked the wheels for play but found none. I dont know whether i would be able to feel play anyway.

I checked the diff oil level and all seemed fine there also. I would go about changing the bearings myself but after a little look it dosnt seem as straight forward as i thought and the bearings are pressed

Has anyone else had similar problems and could shed a little light, or am i best to just get it into a garage and swallow the cost

Oh yeah the car is a 2000 classic if that makes any differance.
