Tag lines - what's your favourite?
Back in the day we used to while away the hours dreaming up silly suggestions for the little tag lines that you can put at the bottom of number plates. A favourite source for these was tag lines from the bottom of cheezy straight to video releases. A selection of the more memorable ones:
From Zero to Hero
I hope that’s a Cosworth......Officer (very 90’s)
Young Boys Who Knew Too Much
Victory Is Our Only Option
Highlander – There Can Be Only One (actually saw this on the back of a Series 1 RST)
Anybody else have any other classics
- past and present - they have witnessed displayed either on number plates – or even classier – back windows??
PS I have to admit we never actually worked up the courage to put any of these on!

one that pains me to this day, and I still see occasionally - is the all time classic :
'the dogs bollo(ks' - or variation thereof - usually on number plate, boot - or - once, plastered down the side of a Sierra in foot high lettering

Way back, asimilar penchat for those sticky sun visor thigns which had "Kev" and "Tray".
Useed to regularly see a car with "Me" and "Me mate".
Funniest recently on a number plate last week, a clapped out Nova who was apparently "Road Runer" (sic).

The guy at work who I sit next to used to own an Escort RS Turbo with "**** Hot" on the bottom of the number plates. I think the police may have told him off for that as he then had a piece of yellow tape covering up the first part!!
One of my friends who also owns an RS Turbo (No offence its just coincidence!!) wanted to put "Don't mess with an RS" on the bottom of his plates but never got round to it.

I once drove past a mark 2 Cortina with a two foot high, boot width pop-riveted tin spoiler on the back. The following was emblazoned across it in yellow fiery writing;
"Only The Strong Survive"
I screamed for nearly four miles.

Another bike one, on the back of a friends R1 number plate underneath H15 WSB (his World Super Bike)
"Please pass, limited to 165mph"
Te he!

Regarding cars, "On a Mission" makes me chuckle! On a mission to instant naffness more like!
Saying that, they all make me smile !

I have seen numerous "boyo's" with the "mission aborted gone for a spliff" sticker plastered on the rear window. Surely this attracts the police like flies to S**T.
My mate Batty had "The Batmobile" hand painted along the full length of his shed Capri, very embarrasing for all who knew him.

Saw a mirrored 'MOVE OVER' on the front of a 3 door Cossie a few years ago.
I kinda like the No Fear ones though:
'Yes, this is my race track!'
'If you're not living on the edge, then your taking up too much room'
'Drive it like you stole it!'
I used to have a 'My other cars an X-Wing' sticker on the rear number plate of my old Clio 16v.
Came free with REVS/MAX POWER.
Sad... I know

Oh yeah... another one that I thought was quite funny, was a sticker on the back of one of those massive American HumVee things... it read:
How my driving?
Dial 1-800 EAT ****

Saw one tonight on the number plate of a VW Jetta GTI (stop laughing, they're very fine motor cars....):
"Sell my Volkswagen? I rather shove wasps up my ****" hmmmmm...

On the back of a Golf GTI, on a nice windy country road here in Germany "Und Tschuss" which translates to "and bye" so I sat up his **** in my Scooby waiting for him to carry out this message, Funny thing was it wasn't long before I was infront of him.
