Default Anyone fitted carbon fibre boot?

What's the fitting like? How strong is the mountings to the oe boot bars? Is the lock secure once fitted or could it easily be popped out?

What parts were bad on fitting? Was the gaps poor between bodywork and did the oe seals "seal" okay? Can you remember if the oe boot bars bolt into the carbon boot via metal nuts moulded into the boot? Just wonder if its p*ss easy to pop the lock out of the boot with a screw driver with this setup?

Decided not to bother...worried ref security, fitting, seals etc etc...

Also had this from USA site:

Note about fitment: These do NOT fit as well an OEM trunk! They're hand-made; don't expect an OEM fit. DO expect that you might have to shim the trunk latch. If you don't want to worry about latch fitment, just get some hood pins or Dzus fittings and be done with it.
