Default APS DR525 vs DR725

I need a FMIC (Intend to run a MD32T), looking around the APS DR725 looks like its the nuts and has good reviews how ever as I am only going to be running 450ish BHP would I be better of going for the DR525 one?

I know the DR725 one is a newer design but is it too big for my aimed power levels?

Cheers

Dan

The core on these APS intercoolers is massive. You have to see it before it goes on the car to get an idea of how thick they are. I still can't believe mine is actually sitting behind my front bumper No wonder they have to cut bits off early classics to get it in there.

I think it must be the 525 I've got since my engine builder took it off his STIv5 before fitting it to mine. Mint quality parts.

Are you getting the hard pipe kit (I think it's a fairly recent option?)

I have the dr725 on mine and it weighs a ton, most people are always trying to save weight so going with the smaller version that meets your needs will save you £££ and Lbs

the intercooler in question
