Question Newbie question

Hey there ppl, just joined and i`m in need of some help.I have bought my first scuby from simon down at Pro-Speed,and looking at the engine scares the pants off me .Basicaly,i cant get the right setting on my boost valve.I have locked it off fully and tried adjusting bit by bit but it doesnt seem to settle right, how many turns should i be doing on this thing??

Also on the throttle body, there is space for 2 throttle cables but there is only 1 cable there at the moment.Should there be 1 or 2 cables there??

Any help would be totaly appreciated

Thanks guys

Adam

Why not ask the guy who sold you the car?
Also what year is the car as that may help identify your problems.

The guy likes to tell little storys and has messed with it quite abit so i`m anyway, its a 95 impretza, but it has a jap import engine,or so the guy says.I think the cooler that the bonnet scoop sits on is on a slight angle and not straight like a normal scooby which means its an import, wether this is true or not i dont know I been told it has an RE head or something like that, sorry to be a complete novice with this, but i am at a loss wat to do.

Need some help from the scoobygods

If your in cardiff try going to Hyeline in Penarth if they are still there Hyeline Performance - Japanese Performance Car tuner. Wales Performance Car Service, Tuning, Repair, import Specialists & exhausts. or if you fancy a spin try Rampage performance in Gloucster RAMPAGE - Performance Motorparts and they should see you right. As for the throttle cable mine is the same so should have no worries there

think second space for cable would be where cruise control cable would go if it had it. seen other types of car that have them and the cable gose to a controled motor..

Quick check for UK car is it shouldn't have a rear wiper, subaru should be spelt out in silver letters on the boot, rear foglight in the rear light cluster.
