As above a friend has got a 540 auto on a 1996 Preg. On normal driving the car changes gear nicely. When you put your foot down it goes into what i can only describe as limp mode? On the dash it reads "transmission failure, only 4th and 5th gear are avaliable" Any help would be appreciated.
