some usefull information,was trying to find out how to remove an oe stereo ande found this web page,nothing about removing a stereo but some interesting information

Cheers for that mate, some good reading.
I dont know about the stereo on yours but on the newer models if you pull the plastic trim behind the gear stick back you cann access it all from there
