Default What should I make of this?

My car has been in the garage (Subaru dealer) for new front-end bushes as the originals were shot. Picked the car up when it was finished and it drove fine. However, 1.5 miles from the garage after the car had warmed through the water exited from the engine due to a split in the radiator. The split was not on the main core, it was on the far left where the rad is smooth. Should I be suspicious ?

Could this have happened due to it being caned to within an inch of its life whilst on a test drive?

Now on top of a £180.00 bill for bushes I now have to pay another £230.00 for a bloody rad as the car cannot be driven home as it is.

just one of the joys of subaru ownership mate

I strongly doubt that it will have been heavily test driven

I've had the rad split down the plastic side (as far as i know that's a common fault) so i would think the rad may have been going anyway.
