Just bought this months Performance Bikes mag.
There is an article on speeding with the various devices used my the feds...one of which is a subaru impreza. They have the 0-60 listed as 7.1 seconds. Maybe its cos theyre white ones.

 

Surely all the extra junk they have to keep in the boot and the drag of the lights have some effect on the 0-60??

Come to think about it I seem to remember the salesman telling me that when I bought mine. Apparently the Blue ones are fastest...

 

Probably having all the regalia, stuff in the boot and two blokes larger than yer average road tester in there ... I seem to remember an article from somewhere about police Volvo T5s which mentioned they were tweaked slightly to a bit above T5R spec, but doesn't sound like they've done the same here

 

Surely the police Imprezas have the Prodrive Performance Pack??

Oh and not all police Imprezas are white there are quite a lot of unmarked ones out there too (When they are not being crashed or having the engines blow up)

 

That'll be it. White car together with those lard **** donut eating fat rozzers. Its a true example of how fine these cars are if they can still accelerate so fast carrying such weight........oh hello there stuart, hows the job?
