Anyone ever deleted a sunroof or change roof??

Need to remove sunroof from my car, or change roof to non sunroof, any ideas??

thanks m8, did a search but nothing came up. Not sure whether to weld the sunroof into place or put a new roof on.

i just changed the roof on my bug. its easy. take the front and rear windows out. they are bonded in. take the roof rails and all clips/ brackets, roof lining off.
obviously remove your sunroof. then its just a case of drilling all the spotwelds around the 4 sides, then cut through the sealer on the rails. then pry off the roof skin taking care not to dent your roof pillars. then prepare your new roof for welding and weld it where all the spot welds were. grind all the welds down and cover them with a bit of filler to make them look nicer. new sealer down the rail joins.then prime, paint and build back up again.
