Default Swopping a R160 for a R180

Hi, I've come accross a R180 rear diff complete with shafts and wonder if this is a straight swop for the R160 diff that is fitted in my V3 STi. I'll check the ratio is the same.

Thanks.

Wouldn't bother if I were you. You need the complete uprights as well inc discs, 2 pots etc...

I think all std R180's are 4.44:1. Is your's that at the mo?

Cheers

Exactly as Dave R says - you'll need all of it and unless it is all there in one place - forget it.
