if i was to take this out would it do any damage ? and would it make the exhaust pop more ? or even flame a little bit ? cheers

 

From what i have learned, if it's half the size of the lambda sensor then it would be the exhaust gas temp sensor [egt] and is perfectly fine to remove.

It's only there to flash the cel if temps get too high nothing more.
