can someone please tell me what a re-map will give as i have been told a should get one done.

a remap will give your sat-nav a map to go to andy forest to spend some money to make you car run faster.

 

A remap involves tweaking of your ECU to give you maximum performance and smoother running through all the gears.

If you've made Modifications to you engine such as decat pipes, induction kit etc etc then you've altered your factory settings and the standard MAP will be incorrect and can some times reduce your BHP figure and make the car slower.

This can also lead to things happening such as boost spiking,mixture running lean or rich the list go's on.

A Map is unique to your car and will get the full potential from your engine meaning boost comes on sooner and for longer and in the majority of cases increased BHP.
