Default Wheel bearing

Does the brake caliper have to be unbolted to change a wheel bearing?

Thanks

Not really, if you can get the disc out from under the caliper then you can still get to everything but is seems silly to leave it on unless its a major problem.

The caliper is bolted on the the hub which you need to remove to change the bearing so its just good sense to take off the caliper to reduce the weight and stop dripping brake fluid everywhere!
