boost problems?

boost problems?
ive noticed lately on my 04 wrx when driving sometimes when i put my foot down there seems to be a bit of a delay on the boost kicking in and sometimes it doesnt quite accelerate as it should. could it be a problem with the wastegate or bad fuel or something? any ideas guys
