Default sti bits

Recently had some JDM STi springs and shocks fitted. The handling and cornering are greatly improved but the ride has suffered somewhat. I would describe it as choppy with a 'short cycle' bounce. I know that the JDM bits are designed for smooth roads and not our crumbling tarmac but I didn't think the ride would be effected to this degree.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Obi

did the springs and shocks come of the same car, they might be mismatched?

i ran Eibach springs on mine prior to go over to ASTs. The ride wasn't too bad on the Eibachs but not in the same league as now.

Yes, springs and struts are matched. I can't decide whether it's the struts overdamping, hence my question to see if there are any common traits for these units.
