Friend of mine put an ebay TMIC on a new-age wrx, Scoobyclinic rated it as no better than a standard item, if you can be bothered with the aggro you'll get an STI 7/8 etc in ! Good for 400 bhp ? and cheaper....

hey dunx, whats an "ebay TMIC" ? ebay dont make things, there just a "shop window"
i bought a hypercharger TMIC off someone via ebay and it was perfect, got over 376 bhp with it on a (MY02) WRX.
ebay does have some "inferior chinese made stuff" for sale, but it also has some cracking branded bargains, (HKS/APEXI etc)
buyer beware, comes to mind.
