Hope someone can help me quickly as I need to use the car now, just been looking under the bonnet of my car, god knows why cos I know nothing about engines.

I noticed that there is a hose which appears to have come off, bit reluctant to pop it back on without checking there isn't a reason it's not on. Can anyone confirm that it should be where it looks like it belongs.

I have to use the car now so I'll put it on and drive very carefully, if anyone knows what this hose does if they could let me know, I'll check in when I get home.
