Hi I have been experiencing a loss of power since I had my clutch changed and also a strange noise when @ 3k revs. I decided to investigate and found what you see in the photos. Is this the cause or shall I continue to look….

 

Personally i would continue to look at ALL the hoses/tubes/wires from the turbo and the air filter/inlet manifold. Check ALL clamps/clips especially to/from the intercooler.
I doubt that is the cause of the trouble, more you are loosing pressure in the inlet tract when boost is building (or trying to).

Things can get knocked-off in the struggle to do everything.
